As a service to Internet users, the agendas are also posted on this web site. Every effort is made to upload the information in a timely fashion. However, the official, time-sensitive posting of agendas continues to be the posting that takes place at City Hall.

- "E-Waste" Recycling Program
The South County Family Educational and Cultural Center, also known as "the Exploration Station", has developed a program in cooperation with a private vendor to recycle electronic waste in an environmentally-friendly manner. Bring your old computers, televisions, copiers, fax machines, printers, and cell phones (no microwaves or household appliances) to the Exploration Station for recycling. In addition, the Exploration Station receives funds for televisions and computer monitors which are used towards their programs and operating expenses.
Dates: Saturday, July 25, 2009.
Times: 9:00 a.m. - 5 p.m. on collection dates.

- Sizzlin' Summer Concert Series - Don't miss out on our free concert series, co-sponsored with the Grover Beach Chamber of Commerce, held in conjunction with a Farmers' Market (June 7th - September 27th). - Whale Tail Grants Program
The California Coastal Commission sponsors a program that distributes funds from the sale of Whale Tail License Plates. Grants support programs that teach California children and the general public to value and take action to improve the health of the state's marine and coastal resources. Adopt-A-Beach programs, California Coastal Cleanup Day, as well as other beach maintenance and coastal habitat restoration projects that have an educational component, are also eligible for these grants. - Lopez Lake Shuttle - Cancelled
We regret to announce due to funding cutbacks, Lopez Lake Shuttle will not be operational this summer. For more information about the Lopez Lake Shuttle, please call South County Area Transit Services (SCAT) at (805) 781-4472 or go to www.slorta.org for information regarding other fun places to visit using public transit.
