| The Parks, Recreation, and Beautification Commission (and before that, the "Grover Beautiful Committee") has been recognizing homeowners and businesses in our community for many years.
Local properties are selected to receive Beautification Awards because the owners/businesses have either made substantial recent improvements or have continued to maintain an existing property in an aesthetically pleasing condition, which serves to beautify the surrounding neighborhood. Our goal is to encourage local residents and business owners to continue keeping Grover Beach an attractive community in which to live, work, and recreate. Awards are presented to property owner(s)/businesses at their place of residence, business location, or City Council meetings. If you would like to nominate your own home, a neighbor’s home, or a local business, please submit a Beautification Award - Nomination Form to the Parks and Recreation Department.
