Sponsorship Opportunities:

Special Event Permit Application:
The City of Grover Beach has prepared guidelines to assist in determining whether an event requires a Special Event Permit (i.e., for private parties planning a gathering or activity to be attended by 100 or more people requiring public resources beyond the normal pattern of traffic and travel or general calls for service). Arbor Day Celebration
  Time:
3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  Location:
Grover Heights Park, N. 10th Street and Atlantic City Avenue

For 30 years, the City of Grover Beach has been designated as a "Tree City" by the National Arbor Day Foundation. We will celebrate this distinction with a special event for children ages 5 to 12. For more information, please contact the Parks and Recreation Department.

Friday, May 12, 2016
Mother & Son Dinner Dance
  Time:
6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
  Fees:  $50 per couple; $20 each additional son or guest
  Location: Grover Beach Community Center, 1230 Trouville Avenue

Mothers and sons (ages 4 - 12) this night is for YOU! This year's theme: "STAR WARS". Dress to the Dark Side, be a Rebel Force, or wear whatever feels comfortable - dressy or casual - but don't forget your dancin' shoes!

We'll provide dinner, crafts, DJ for dancing, contests, prizes, photo booth, and lots of fun! Don't miss this special evening for you and your son(s).

Spring Garden Tour & Plant Exchange
  Time:
1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
  Location: Several beautiful gardens in Grover Beach

The Grover Beach Parks, Recreation & Beautification Commission will be hosting this annual event which is a favorite for many area residents and visitors! Join us for a free self-guided tour of the beautiful local gardens chosen for display. Bring a plant or cutting and exchange it for a new/different plant or cutting at the Plant Exchange held at the Ramona Garden Park, 993 Ramona Avenue!

The search for gardens is on! We need the community's assistance with locating the best gardens in Grover Beach! To nominate a residential or commercial garden, please call (805) 473-4580.

Please note: Deadline for Spring Garden Tour nominations is Friday, May 12, 2017.
