Recreational Independent Contract Instructors Needed 
The Grover Beach Parks and Recreation Department currently has openings for independent contract instructors. The department is always looking for new and creative recreational opportunities to provide to our citizens. Be your own boss and let us help.

How to Apply
If you are interested, please review the Independent Contract Instructor Handbook, complete the application form, and submit the application form in person directly to the Parks and Recreation Department in Grover Beach City Hall, located at 154 South Eighth Street.

Volunteer Opportunities
The Grover Beach Parks and Recreation Department is currently seeking volunteers to assist with programs and special events held throughout the year. Volunteer opportunities include sport programs, office work, and special event support. Help is needed both before and after events. Students needing community service hours are also welcome to participate as volunteers at any of the department's special events. Instructors are needed to teach classes for older adults, teens, and youth. Topics and schedules can be tailored to meet your individual availability.
