Spring is a time when gardens are in full bloom, and what better way to celebrate the beauty of nature than by taking a tour of some of the most spectacular gardens in the city? Grover Beach Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to announce the Spring Garden Tour, scheduled for Sunday, May 21, 2023, from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm.
Get ready for a delightful and engaging activity at this year's Spring Garden Tour – Bingo! We have added a thrilling twist to the event by introducing a Bingo game that will take you on a tour of beautiful gardens throughout the neighborhood. So mark your calendars for May 21st, check out our interactive online map, and prepare for an afternoon of garden exploration!
Here's how it works:
After arriving at Garden A, participants will receive a bingo card, specially designed for this event. The card will feature a grid of empty boxes, each with an address listed. Your mission is to visit these addresses and collect stickers to mark off the corresponding boxes on your card.
As you wander through the neighborhood, take in the stunning spring blossoms, aromatic fragrances, and lush greenery. Discover hidden gems and marvel at the creative landscaping that adorns each garden. It's a wonderful opportunity to immerse yourself in nature's beauty while having fun with friends and family.
Once you have filled your bingo card with stickers, make your way to Moon and Co. on Grand Avenue. This charming local shop will serve as the final destination for completing your card. Bring your completed bingo card to Moon and Co. between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. on May 21st to be automatically entered into a drawing for a chance to win a gift card to start your own garden!
Please note that bingo cards will only be accepted at Moon and Co. on May 21st between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. Make sure to mark your calendar and plan your visit accordingly. We hope you have a wonderful time exploring, collecting stickers, and experiencing the joy of spring!
