The City of Grover Beach has (1) seat open due to an unscheduled vacancy on the Parks, Recreation & Beautification Commission and (1) seat scheduled to be open with the expiration of a Commission term on May 31, 2015. Terms on the Commission are four-year periods, with no term limits.

The Parks, Recreation & Beautification Commission is a body of five citizens that meets on a monthly basis. Regularly scheduled meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m., with special meetings as needed.
