As part of the Train Station Expansion Project, the Amtrak Bus Stop will be relocated from its current site behind West Grand Avenue businesses to the Grover Beach train station. This grant funded regional transportation project expanded the Amtrak train station to provide additional parking, improve landscaping, and incorporate the bus passenger loading and unloading area on the same side of the train tracks. Passengers will no longer have to cross the train tracks to access the Amtrak connecting buses for service to the Bay Area and Santa Barbara.
Passengers are directed to the new bus stop located to the south of the train platform and the Monarch Grove Winery building. Buses that pick-up passengers will utilize both stops for one week during this transition while buses that have drop-only passengers will serve the new stop only.
